When the need arises, we hold investment weekend courses that teach the OptionsWest Covered Call strategy. This consistently successful approach is used to manage the Education Fund. (See Education Fund Status). Out-of-state clients have enjoyed the weekend training format. These "Weekend Courses" are intensive, full weekend sessions that teach the same strategy as the full course curriculum. The weekend courses are divided into two levels. We hold single weekend courses for experienced traders and comprehensive double-weekend courses for investors who need to learn equity market investing from the ground up.

This weekend course is specifically designed for experienced stock traders who want to learn a unique risk-adverse investment strategy that produces consistent double digit returns. This stratgey only requires a minimal time investment per account (4-5 hours per month) and does not require the use of margin (Perfect for IRA accounts). You will learn the strategy that is the core teaching of the full OptionsWest education. You will also receive the software "tools" that allow you to automate many of your risk managment decisions. The tools also save you valuable time, time better spent enjoying life than researching stocks. This course is for investors who are comfortable with trading stocks and options, and are familiar with at least the basics of spread trades and covered calls. The cost of the weekend includes the TradeView account management software (a course pre-requisite), a 6 month subscription to the TradeSmart daily covered call listing sheet and the e-Advantage email trade alerts. Great and reasonable accomodations are available at the Ayers Inn in Rancho Santa Margarita and the classroom is located in the hotel. Each weekend includes a complimentary working lunch and dinner at a local favorite eatery on Saturday.

The Comprehensive Double Weekend course consists of two intensive weekends ( held four to six weeks apart ). Each weekend includes four full sessions that cover the details of our OptionsWest Covered Call strategy. This strategy generates annual returns of 40%-50% on an equity trading account without using margin. The software tools and stock selection web info needed is also part of the course. Typically, the first class is on a Friday evening, with the second and third classes setup as morning and afternoon sessions on Saturday. Sunday afternoon there is a Q&A session and workshop for hands-on trading practice. The cost of the weekend includes the TradeView account management software (a course pre-requisite), a 6 month subscription to the TradeSmart Daily covered call listing sheet and e-Advantage email trade alerts.
